The question is often asked what the rarities of all the dice are and the answer is conveniently found on Chuck Pint’s Dragon Dice website.

Follow the “Click here for Dragon Dice” menu option, then “FAQ’s”

This information was also posted to the old SFR forums by Chuck in 2012, so some people remember it from there.

At the time of writing this, the Frostwings Kickstarter has been announced to launch on 2nd April 2021. Part of this campaign involves changing the molds so that the Magi is no longer virtually impossible to find. Once the new dice are manufactured this will affect the rarities listed below.

Here is the FAQ reproduced for convenience. Thanks Chuck!

Q: What are the different rarites of the dice in the kickers?
A: For all the kickers and starters, the rarity of the each type of small six-sided dice and medium six-sided dice is equal. For the last two kickers done by TSR (Frostwings and Scalders), a non-equal rarity was introduced for the large six-sided dice. For all other kickers and for any starter, all larges are equally likely. Note that the rarity is set by the mold setup. So SFR cannot fix the “rarity” problem without making all new molds. Update! SFR has updated the Frostwing larges mold. Starting in 2021, all Frostwing large dice will be equal rarity.

For Frostwings larges (pre-2021) the rarity is:
Most Common : Vindicator 37.1% (26/70)
Common : Slayer 31.4% (22/70)
Uncommon : Assailer 20.0% (14/70)
Rare : Bear-Master 8.6% (6/70)
Ultra-Rare : Magi 2.9% (2/70)

For Scalders rares the rarity is:
Most Common : Blazer 37.1% (26/70)
Common : Charkin 31.4% (22/70)
Uncommon : Dragonne Knight 20.0% (14/70)
Rare : Searer 8.6% (6/70)
Ultra-Rare : Inferno 2.9% (2/70)

All races have different rarities of monsters. The Monsters and Amazons are the tricky ones, since there are five different races of monsters possible in any box. The rarity of the monsters in the Monsters and Amazons kickers is as follows:
Coral Elf Common : Gryphon, Sprite Swarm, Tako
Dwarf Common : Androsphinx, Gargoyle, Roc
Goblin Common : Harpy, Shambler, Troll
Lava Elf Common : Drider, Hell Hound, Rakshasa
Amazon Common : Centaur, Hydra, Medusa
Rare : Coral Giant, Umber Hulk, Death Naga, Beholder, Chimera
Chance of getting a rare in a box about 10%, chance of getting a particular rare is about 2%, chance of getting a particular common is about 6%.
With the 2-player starters out, the chance of getting a common monster for that race is 30% (9/30), a rare monster is 10% (3/30). With the new racial kickers for the Dwarves, Goblins, Coral Elves, Lava Elves, and Amazons, the rarity will change slightly, and the missing “fifth” monsters will be out. The new fifth monsters will be uncommon in rarity. The rarities will be 25% for a common (10/40), 15% for an uncommon (6/40), and 10% for a rare monster (4/40).

Other SFR products:
Eldarim Expansions:
For the Eldarim kicker, it only has smalls, mediums, and larges. The rarity is flat.
For the Eldarim champions packages, the dice in each is fixed, you always get all 5 elemental colors plus the white.
For the Dragonkin package, the dice are random, 5 different colors and 3 different types for the smalls, mediums, and larges. The Dragonkin Champions are simply in the 5 different colors.

Battlefields:
As the box says, you get one Feylands, one Wastelands, 2 Special Terrains, and 3 minor terrains. Here’s the full breakdown:
Wasteland: One in the box, equal chance of one of 4 normal Wastelands (City, Standing Stones, Tower, Temple) or one of 4 special terrains (Castle, Dragons’ lair, Grove, Vortex).
Feyland: One in the box, equal chance of one of 4 normal Wastelands (City, Standing Stones, Tower, Temple) or one of 4 special terrains (Castle, Dragons’ lair, Grove, Vortex).
Specials: Equal chance of Coastland, Flatland, Highland, Swampland colors, and equal chance of one of 4 special eighth faces (Castle, Dragons’ lair, Grove, Vortex).
