This post is an advertisement for our solo variant designed to be launched in time for Gencon. This is as a result of my previous posts for the Punt your Dragon variant.
Here I have done a run through of the variant by way of introduction. We are still finishing off the rules, but we can assure you that these will be published in the Esfah Chronicles in the very near future.
In the meantime, we hope that this photo story generates enough interest to help launch our Gencant competition which, I believe, will have an interesting prize for the winner.

Dragon Attack Phase at Home – 3 damage Another 6 damage – Total 9 hits Home save roll – only 2 7 heath to DUA Dragon Attack Phase Campaign Army – No result Home Army 1st March – Manoeuvre Home army missile at Frontier Dragon saves Campaign Army 2nd March – Manoeuvre No Action but terrain moves to 2nd face Retreat Phase

Dragon Attack Phase – No Army at either terrain, both move down one face Reserve Army 1st March – 8 magic Resurrect 2 health Redeploy Phase
Round 5
Dragon Attack Phase – 3 damage Dragon Attack – Treasure Treasure means promotion 3 health replaces 2 health 8 saves and no damage Home Army 1st March – No manoeuvre, magic rolls 10 2 health resurrected, the other 5 points lost as they can’t effectively be used Retreat Phase – Mages back to reserves
Round 6
Dragon Phase Home Army – The dragon is killed Dragon is dispatched to Horde queue Promotion of Home Army units Reserve Army 1st March – 5 Magic cast Fiery Weapon Home Army 2nd March – Manoeuvre to face 4 Missile fire and save from Dragon Dragon is killed – back to Horde queue Single unit gains promotion Reinforce Phase Dragon Replenish Phase Current Dragon Queue No Dragon at Frontier allows a ‘free turn’ for Campaign army.
