Round 7
Coral elves try to use a Feyland knoll in the hope of being able to use missiles or magic, but it goes wrong for them.
A dust storm blows up and their visibility is reduced.
The swampland knoll allows them to march on and still use missile fire.
In their rush forward, their aim is not good and they only produce a single missile result.
But that is still enough to wipe out the Hound Master keeping guard.
The terrain moves back to its 7th face.
The magicians revert to the reserves according to orders.
A very useful Defender is brought back.
Time for a final thrust.
I think one of the main problems with the frostwings force was that there were no saves for their melee. They were fast but not survivable. Some Vendicators would have helped tremendously in survivability and tactically. With the constant melee they would have been a wercking ball against most of the coral elf army. Other than that the army was solid. The coral elves just have a nasty deterrent for ranged combat. It doesn’t help that the could produce more results that the frostwings could save. The Frostwings…got de-frosted.
