Round 6

The Coral elf magic circle have a lucky break at the frontier, producing 8 results.

Two stacked Flash Floods mean that the Firewalkers need 12 manoeuvre results to stop the elves from using their bows on them this round.

They only produce 10 of the required 12 and the terrain moves down to its 5th face. This is missile range for the elves!

A small wasteland knoll allows the home army a perfect spot to carry out another attempt at magic, if needed.

With their sharpshooter and two magicians missing from the army, they decide to make use of this unexpected stroke of luck.

The gods decide that they have had enough luck for one day, and they generate only a single magic result.

With a big army of firewalkers next door and the terrain at missile distance, the elves take the decision to follow orders and drop back into reserves.

The Firewalkers generate 7 magic results.

They use them to dispatch the enchanter in the reserves.

The DUA is starting to fill, and there are not many elven magicians around to improve the situation.

The Firewalkers’ attempt to manoeuvre fails this time, by 10 results to 16. They decide that attacking would be a bad idea owing to the legendary Defensive Volley of the Coral elves.

Seeing that remaining at the Corals’ home terrain is not going to produce anything useful, the firewalkers use their Air Flight once more to redeploy at the other two terrains, leaving the elves to fight among themselves.
